December is around the corner and what better way to wrap up the year than by becoming a corporate sponsor?
Ending the year on a high note by making a tax-deductible corporate donation will make you and your company feel good about helping local charities and may help boost your bottom line! What’s more, you get a year’s worth of promotion for your company, courtesy of Jacie’s Kids, as you are continually thanked for showing such a philanthropic heart.
These days, corporate social responsibility has become increasingly more important. In fact, 705 of millennials report that they will spend more money with brands that openly support causes. When you consider millennials represent approximately $2.45 trillion in spending, companies giving back to the community and charity may be an extremely important aspect for company sales.
Corporate donations can even help you boost your employee morale. Involve your employees in choosing the charity to donate to. Allowing employees to play a role in the donation improves workplace culture and promotes positivity and community involvement.
Employees respect companies that give back to their community, it increases their emotional attachment to the company which can increase retention rates. It is safe to say that people in general appreciate companies that involve volunteer work on the job.
So, this holiday season why not encourage your employees to participate in a local toy drive! There are plenty online and Jacie’s Kids is hosting three of them locally on November 17th, Dec 2nd, and Dec 6th. So, Check out Jacie’s Kids on Facebook for more info!

In the past, our corporate sponsor dollars have helped Jacie’s Kids reunite grandparents with grandchildren to assist in cancer care and have provided the money to purchase computers for children to use during hospital stays. The money Jacie’s Kids raises goes to local Long Island children and their families as well as donated in the form of checks to area children cancer centers such as Good Samaritan, Stony Brook, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.
So, no matter what reason you have for choosing to donate, know that your dollar will help bring about positive change in your community and foster a spirit of giving and collaboration amongst your workforce.
