WALK TO BENEFIT DAY CAMP FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER! June 3, 21012

Sunrise Day Camp offers a local day camp experience for children with cancer ages 3 1/2 to 16 years.  Jacie’s Kids will be participating in a walk to benefit Sunrise Day Camp on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012.  It will be held at Henry Kaufman Campground, 75 Colonial Springs Road, Wheatley Heights, NY 11798.

Sunrise Day Camp is operated by FriedbergJCC, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization, which has been successfully running summer camps, daycare, preschool, after-school activities and services for seniors and the disabled for more than three decades.  By raising funds for the summer camp program through fundraising efforts such as this walk, Sunrise Day Camp is able to offer camp for FREE to all children being treated for cancer on a non-sectarian basis.

If you are interested in walking for the cause please email us at  jacie@jacieskids.org, a $5.00 donation per volunteer will be collected.   Please ask your friends and neighbors to sponsor you walk with additional donations of $5.00, check made payable to The Sunrise Day Camp.  Donations made in memory of  family or friends will be posted on our website.

Jacie’s Kids will be supplying  water for the walkers.
